:Picture Gallery here: :La-Z-Link :Saturday turned out to be a great day for the 1st annual 300zx Nationals. Even with all the other events going on we had a nice turnout with over 120 Z32's in the lot. We gave away a lot of gift certificates, Z1 shirts, Street Needs gear (thanks to Wagz), a UR pulley, a couple hundred dollars cash, and a chrome plenum at dinner. :We dynoed over 30 Z32's in the dyno competition. No huge #'s but for a $20 fee for 2 runs with power, torque, and air/fuel a lot of people found they had problems that needed to be brought to their attention. Plus the winners got their money back, a trophy, and a Z1 gift certificate. :Everyone enjoyed Sunday at the track. Brad Grodi pulled the best time of the day, so close to the 10's with an 11.03 at over 130 mph! The NA drag competition was a heated battle with 9 entries. Single elimination tournament with Alan Norris pulling off the win in a 2+2. :Thanks to everyone that attended and we hope to see more of you out for this event next year. We are already planning larger more structured competitions with larger prizes. We'll have a double elmination 1/4 mile drag race tournament as well as a more competitive dyno shootout with nice payouts.
